Obituary

Linda Sue Blain was called home on August 28, 2016 to start her new adventure with our Lord, at the age of 49. Sue always loved new adventures and challenges, she felt that her illness was just one of those new life's challenges. Although we may all believe she lost her battle, she actually has won the war! For she has now joined forces with her beloved father Roscoe. As they embark on a new journey together. Although Sue never married, she was an inspiration to her 2 kids, which adored her spirit and outlook on life itself. Sue was born and raised in San Antonio and was a graduate of Clark High School, Class of 1985. She enjoyed baking cookies for the prison ministry, cooking and of course shopping on eBay (or any other website, always looking for the "good" deals). But most of her enjoyment came from just spending as much time with her beautiful daughters, family and friends. She loved traveling to the beach, having family outings or just "messing around" with just about everyone. She loved to fish (oddly - she never had a fishing license-yet always seemed to catch the most fish!). She loved all of her animals almost as much as her family. Sue's spirit and smile was contagious, she was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Sue is survived by her mother Felicita Blain, her beloved daughters; Danielle Blain & Michelle Blain, siblings; Michael Blain (Debbie), Myron Blain, Matthew Blain (Debbie), Lisa Wonder(Steven), Steven Blain, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members, including her cat Boo, her dogs – Sadie and Ella. A Memorial Service wishing her off to her new adventure will begin on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East. The family asks in lieu of gifts, a special donation be made in memory of Sue for her 2 children - Danielle and Michelle – at any BBVA Compass Bank location: C/O SUE BLAIN Account # 6738446699. Arrangements under the direction of Sunset North Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
