"I'm sorry to tell you that Alan Hill passed away at 3 pm yesterday, December 9th, 2014. I'm not a member (we moved to Bandera between my Junior and Senior year), but Alan and I grew up together from the 1st grade, and every birthday he'd call to wish me a happy birthday, and we talked on the phone every month. If you could, I would GREATLY appreciate this comment when you post of his passing: A better friend could never be found. "
