Jim was one the boys that "hung together" with me at John Marshall. Roddy Jurado and Todd Vanderpool were the other two. Jim always talked about being a Green Beret and I was looking to join the Marines. Jim joined the Marines and was part of the Saigon evacuation. I joined the Army and became a Green Beret....go figure.
Jim passed away while driving home on leave either in late 1975 or early 1976. He was a good friend! He has been missed all these years and I think on him oftern.
