I met Marilyn in 1956 when she lived across the street from Olmos Elementary school, and we were in the fifth grade. To her family and friends, please accept my sincere condolences . Allthough I have not seen Marilyn since we graduated from high school, I remember her beautiful smiling face, and had hoped to see her at the Lee 50-year reunion.

Marilyn was such a kind and beautiful person.  The world will be less joyful without her in it.

So,so sorry for your loss. I remember being in homeroom and in some classes with her. She was always so kind and sweet to everyone. She and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

As everyone else has stated, Marilyn was both beautiful and kind, a combination that doesn't occur as often as it should. I remember her from the seventh grade onward. My sympathies to her family, but we will all see her again in a few years.

I was in homeroom with Marilyn throughout our Lee school days.  I was not that close to her, but I remember, as others have stated, Marilyn as being very quiet and polite.  What a tribute from her family.  May her absence be filled with happy and meaningful moments you shared with her.

Such sad news . My best to all her family and friends . We had a few classes together & she was always upbeat and positive . Even helped me with my homework .

My first memory of Marilyn was her blonde hair & her sweet but quiet shyness. Our family had just moved to San Antonio & this was my first experience in a public school system. It was May,  the last month of the 5th grade & I didn't know anyone!! Her genuine kindness stood out of the crowd.  Because of her shy & sweet but friendly smile I thought public school might not be so bad after all. For a number of years after that her mom would call my mom & they would come pick me up (in her moms big beautiful convertible)....& her mom would take us everywhere. Such good memories! Marilyn's little brother was usually with us.  I have recently enjoyed correspondence with her 2 sons. Marilyn & I lost  touch after high school & I was really hoping to see her at our 50th!  If anyone has a memory or pictures of Marilyn they would like to share with her sons they would love to hear from you.
