Janylee Knapper, 62, of Amarillo died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008.

Janylee was born Dec. 16, 1945, to Ralph and Gracie Lee Knapper in Gainesville. Janylee worked as a home health aide. She helped students with their reading at Mesa Verde school through the HOSTS program for three to four years. She loved her dogs very much. Janylee loved helping with her church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gracie Lee Knapper.
Survivors include her father, Ralph Knapper of Canyon; and a cousin, Richard Knapper of Cleveland.
