January 4, 1946 – September 14, 2009 

Darleen Wallace, 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2009, at her home after a long illness. 

Darleen was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 4, 1946 to Eunice and Caesar Meyer. She lived in San Antonio, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School. 

Darleen completed two years of college work at San Antonio College (SAC), where she met and married her husband James "Pat" Wallace. Darleen lived in Norfolk, Va. while Pat was on U.S. Navy active duty and then moved to the Dallas area, where she worked for Texas Instruments until Kim was born. 

Darleen became a homemaker while working part time at Plano General Hospital. In 1981, Darleen and her family moved to College Station. Darleen attended Texas A&M University 1983-1985, until she became ill. 

Darleen was preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Rodriguez; sister, Sandra Blythe; and brother, Bobby Meyer. 

Survivors include her father and wife, Caesar and Lila Meyer, of Seguin, Texas; husband, Pat Wallace; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Russ Bennett, of Schertz, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Beard, of Cedar Park, Texas; grandchildren, Emily and Cody Bennett, Autumn Beard and Noel Wallace; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Leslie Vocke, Susan and Dennis Howard; brothers, Eddie Rodriguez, Ricky Meyer, Stephen and wife, Carol Meyer; nieces and nephews.
