August 25, 1946 - June 21, 1974

 

Vernon Rogers was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 25, 1946.  Following graduation at Lee he became a fireman, but sadly, Vernon lost his life in a plane crash near Smithson Valley in 1974.  He was the lone occupant of the plane and died of a fractured skull.  Vernon is buried in Roselawn Memorial Park in San Antonio.
