Life Legacy

Terry Allen Davidson, 67, passed away peacefully after his battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Wednesday April 24th, 2013. He fought hard, never complained about his situation, and was always appreciative to those that helped him with his battle. He was loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frances and Leonard Davidson. He is survived by his son Simon Davidson, brothers Charles and Jim Davidson, granddaughter Emma Lucille Davidson, and numerous family and great friends.

Born in Guthrie Oklahoma on November 2nd, 1945, Terry loved playing sports especially basketball in his youth. He went on to graduate from MacArthur High School in San Antonio in 1963, earned a Bachelor of American History degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1971, and a Master of Public Administration from Texas Tech University in 1979. He served in the army from 1968-1970.

His happiest years were his Austin years in the mid 70's, when he worked hard with his hands and saw the results of his work, saw his son born and grow, spent many weekends out in the country with his parents and helping with their cows, and enjoying the height of the Austin country music scene.

He loved good Texas BBQ, Chinese food, country dancing, and philosophy. He had an easy-going manner with his friends, and was proud of his family.

Friends are cordially invited to join the family for a memorial service to honor and celebrate his life at 10 O'clock in the morning on Saturday May 4th at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home. 9926 Jones Rd, Houston, TX, 77065.
