Again, I was floored when I saw Bobbie McCallum's name in the memories section. Don't know the details, but I do remember that Bobbie was one of those young, good looking ladies who made me feel like I was someone by noticing me.
Know what I mean?
She just had a genuine smile on her face to brighten my day whenever our paths crossed, which were unfortunately not very many times.
As newly weds we always got together with her and Don cooking pizza and playing cards. Bobbie was at the hospital when our first son was born. She was with James as they rolled me down the hall exposed to the world.
Bobbie suffered ill effects from the radiation for breast cancer. In my opinion she died from over radiation. The last time she dropped by the nursery to see me she was with her mother and I was in the middle of a payroll day computer crisis. I had no idea at the time that she was making her end of life visits to us. We never know what visit or call could be our last.
I dated Bobbie a couple of times in High School and she always had a laughing way about her, always seeming upbeat and happy. I moved on after graduation and visited with her and her family at the 20th reunion. I was sadden when I heard of her passing away so early in life. She is missed

You are still missed, Bobbie!
