In Memory

Antonio S Rodriguez III

Antonio S Rodriguez III

Today, Thursday, March 31, 2022, my dear friend (and friend to so many), Tony lost his long battle with cancer.

Tony left this world on a gloriously beautiful day - perfect golf weather for the sport that had embraced him after days at Mac.

Adios Tone - words can never express the positive impact you had on me.

Please pray for his wife, Beverly, and his son, Chad.

My heart is simply broken! Tony lived life so large that I really thought he would beat this cancer. I am especially hurt for his family, as I know the pain they are experiencing is beyond description. Tony was my original cheer partner, and always a gentleman. He will be sorely missed.  Liz Ball Medley

Tony's presence in this world is already missed.  We need more of his positive, caring spirit. Great guy!  Rest In Peace, Tony.  You set a great example for the rest of us.   DZ

I have known Tony for over 50 years.  And, even though I do not live in the SA area, I still recall him being a "class act".  From his cheering us on at Mac to running track.  His presence is greatly missed as we mourn for his family and our classmate.

It seems like yesterday I saw him at the track behind MAC either competing or cheering...he was a friendly guy. Big smile. God bless him.

Although I never hung out with Tony, I still remember to this day where his locker was in the field house with all of the other "track meats." I don't remember him ever being in a bad mood and he always had something positive to say. Rest in peace, buddy!

Tony was such an inspiration to us all. Never a negatinve thing to say to anyone and a friend to all.

This battle with cancer has been a long road and he has traveled it with such grace and positivity.

His celebration of life service was just as upbeat as he was. Many laughs and some tears but a perfect tribute to about as perfect a man as I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. RIP Tony.. I konw you are playing golf with those who have gone before.
