Evangelina Longoria (Hinojosa)

On 08/02/09, I received a message from Eva at this class website stating that she would continue to battle her cancer but would leave everything in God's hands. Her message is below: 

  Gracie, I am fighting as usual but sometimes I just feel down. I believe God will spare me. God is the only one that knows. If that is his will I will respect it with no questions. He knows what he is doing and why. Who am I to question.

We lost Eva on 04/21/10 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

  Evangelina L. Hinojosa  , 59 years of age passed away April 21, 2010 after a long illness. She was a 1969 Graduate of San Diego High School and a Graduate of Texas A.& I. University Kingsville achieving a masters degree in Education. She taught in the San Diego School District and retired after 36 years.

    Preceded in death by: Her Parents: Jesus M. and Rosa R. Longoria and Her Father in law: Antonio H. Hinojosa.   Survivors include : Her Husband of 38 years: Homero S. Hinojosa,  two Daughters: Norma L. Hinojosa  and Leola L. Hinojosa,San Diego, Texas
