Obituary

Bob” (Louis Robert) Bertram, Age 51, of Mill Valley, CA passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2011. He leaves behind his children Brennan and Serika and former wife Sandy. Also surviving him are his mother and stepfather Maria and Jim Hood and his brother and wife, Ernie and Suzanne Bertram of San Diego.

Born in Calexico, CA on July 28, 1959 Bob grew up in San Diego, CA loving the ocean, later moving to the Bay Area to graduate from USF. Once in Marin a love for Mt. Tam led him out of the corporate world to pursue mountain biking with a passion, riding 366 days straight. He continued to share his passion for life with his friends and clients as a personal fitness trainer/avid mountain biker.

We will miss Bob for his infectious smile and upbeat personality. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 PM Thursday night, June 30th at Mill Valley Community Church, 8 Olive St., MV. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an educational fund for Brennan and Serika. Donations may be made to the Bob Bertram Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, referencing Sandra Fujii.
