We recently heard of Betty's death. My kid memories include her "Campbell Kid" curly locks and fun in Girl Scouts/Timberloft Camp. I'll drink a toast to Betty at our reunion and maybe plan a picnic. ;-) love, Mimi
I went from K-12 with Betty and remember her warmly. Sweet, sweet girl. It was quite a shock to see her name here. Thanks for adding her, Melinda. She used to live on Cambridge Ave, I think in the house she inherited from her folks and had grown up in. So sad to know she's gone.
I was so sad to see that Betty had passed away. Betty and I went from grammer school through 12th grade. I think those of us who knew each other from grammer school on had a very strong tie even though we might have lost contact after SLH. I'm sorry I've missed all the reunions and seeing Betty once more. She will be missed. God Bless
I haven't been on this site for a while and unbelievably just stumble over this area. Betty and I were good friends and I remember piling into her 55 Bel Air convertible and riding up and down in front of the school especially on football game days.
The last time I saw her was at the reunion we had at Jack London Village, 20 or 25 I think. She is missed.
