School Story:
I was a student at Pacific High School for one full year in 1966-67. We lived in San Leandro. It was an interesting school. Built with circular hall ways, You spent your lunch hour walking in circles in multiple directions to see everyone. I had a teacher who could throw chalk over his shoulder from anywhere in the room and land it in the tray at the bottom of the black/green board.
There were cans of hairspray in the mens bathrooms and 'fonzi', 'james dean' type hair was very popular. but as you can see from the picture back then, I had a Beatle type haircut and I stood out like a sore thumb.
I cut off the tip of my thumb in metal shop class on a squaring shear.
I drove a new 66 burgandy Mustang to school.
