I don't have the words to express how heavy my heart feels right now. Matt was a beautiful person inside and out. ...the type of person that you wanted to be around because he made you feel happy, light hearted and good about yourself. He was enthusiastic and encouraging. An amazing musician. BIG HEART! I will truly truly miss you, Matt.

Last email I recieved from Matt says it all,

"YOU Are Awesome!  You did a fine job and the reunion was the best party I have been to in a long time.  Let’s stay in touch forever!!

Great Job!

Love,

ME"

I agree with Paige, Mathew was a beautiful person.  He came from a family of beautiful people: parents, sisters and brothers, wife and sons, who must be hurting terribly and so very confused.  My heart goes out to his family and I sincerely hope that Mathew is peaceful and with his parents again.  I'll remember you fondly and miss you my friend.

As I write this, the tears are streaming down my face. I can not believe this. I had the great fortune to know Matt and his family. I have been thinking about the 30th reunion, Matt playing guitar-"You've got a friend", Paige singing, it just seems unreal that he is gone. I will never forget back many years ago,  Matt playing along with Pink Floyd, "Wish you were here" and his dad watching him with such pride. I will always think of him when I hear it. Rest in Peace, Matt. I will love you forever, and ever. Chrissy

I didn’t have the good fortune to know Matt well, but I’ve always remembered him fondly for a pivotal lesson he taught me in the midst of my 7th-grade-school-bus-riding angst about learning to laugh at yourself.  He was clearly loved by many people!  Blessings to Matt and his family.

OMG, I am in a state of shock, I just remember him at the pre mixer and the reuniuon.  Matt and I, when we were really young, would be dorks and say dumb stuff like Amon - Amandoli, if we got married I wouldn't have to change my name, in reality that makes absolutely no sense.

Matt could be friends with anyone, even a rabid ligar.  I know he would not expect me to write something normal so I am not.  He had a great personality and was nice to everybody, even straight A students like me!......not, don't even know how I graduated.

I believe everybody in TL knew him or of him.  He will be missed by so many....bless his wife and kids.

Miss ya Matt and when I meet you up there in heaven, I'm sure I'll see you on some cloud, you'll be wearing hippy clothes, playing your guitar singing kumbaya.

Jean
