I recently got back from a weeklong visit to Hong Kong over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was an awesome experience, and I can't wait to go back again because there is so much more to see and do!
We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary last August and did a month-long vacation in September/October beginning with a 2-week long Viking Cruise to see the Fall Colors on the east coast starting in Montreal, Canada. At the end of the cruise, our Captain was racing down to Ft. Lauderdale trying to beat hurricane Milton and he did, but... the Coast Guard closed all the ports! So, we got a 16th bonus day at sea cruising around the Florida Keys. Our son-in-law said, "We are the only people he knows that can ride out a hurricane in First Class!"
Afterwards, we got to visit some of the kids/grandkids & great grandkid in Ohio and then drove down to visit the rest of the gang in Alabama, including the newest member of our family, our 10th great grandson who was just turning 5-months old.
Starting to plan a trip to Iceland in September where we will be driving the entire Ring Road around the island. It is our gift to our Grandson Tye for his High School graduation this coming June.
I am really looking forward to our 50th High School Reunion and hoping to reconnect with several friends that I have lost contact with since graduating. So, if you know any of the following people, please let me know how I can get ahold of them so I can encourage them to attend:
