Andrew Clifton Mortensen, beloved son and brother, passed away Dec 27 2011. Born on March 9, 1975 in Washington D.C., to Marion K. and Beverly Mortensen. Andrew grew up in Virginia, California and Sandy, Utah.
He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Juan Puerto, Rico from 7/94-7/96. He received his Bachelors of Art degree in 2006 from the University of Utah. He worked as a salesman and a stockbroker.
Andy was great with children and loved playing with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed skiing, skydiving, tennis, and waterskiing.
Survived by his parents Marion K. Mortensen and Beverly Mortensen. His siblings M.K. (Lara) Mortensen, Kim (Stuart) Smith, Marnee (Mark) Hadfield, Michaal Shannan (Kirk) Withers, and Brent Mortensen. His 23 nieces and nephews and host of extended family loved him very much.
He will be dearly missed by those still here on earth and welcomed with loving arms by his family and friends who have already passed on.
