Kevin Cameron VIEW PROFILE

 Kevin Cameron, 52, died peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2009. He was born in Lee County, son of Lucille C. Cameron and the late James Elton Cameron.

He was a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in business. After college, he returned to Sanford where he joined his family’s business, Godfrey Body Shop. In 2003, he started his own company, Premier Collision. Since 2006, he worked with Home Shield, Inc. of Raleigh. Kevin was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Sanford Elks Lodge #1679. He will be remembered for his love for people and for the positive impact he had on many lives. His wide circle of friends will miss his zest for life and his constant concern for their well-being.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Parker Elizabeth Cameron of Raleigh; a son, Carson Alexander Cameron of Sanford; a brother, Kenneth K. and wife Janet; two nieces, Whitney and Kenleigh; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. His large, close family will especially miss his caring, expressive personality and his wonderful sense of humor.

Ron Bridges

I remember Kevin as being a vibrant, healthy young athlete with a keen sense of humor. To lose this at such a young age is hurtful. I pray for his family.
