Dennis Parker was born December 17, 1944 and passed away the summer of 1964. He was a student at Chapman College and was engaged to Cindy Peacock. I believe he passed away near Oklahoma City.
I attended the service for Dennis and still have the little program in my yearbook. He lived at 1402 Willits St. in Santa Ana and died on a road trip near Oklahoma city as he and another traveler in the vehicle were changing for him to drive. His parents were "Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Parker and he had three sisters; Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Ames of Santa Ana, Mrs . N.B. (Patricia) Atkinson of Orange and Mrs. John (Claudine) Biszantz of Westminister. He was also survived by his fiance, Cyndie Peacock of Santa Ana. Dennis was an honor student at both Santa Ana Valley High School and Chapman College (not yet University) where he had just completed his sophomore year. He was a member of the Retail Clerks Union No. 324." Dennis was such a quiet and likeable guy. His service was very hard to get through.
