Ron died November 18, 2023 of a heart attack in Las Vegas. He was 79 and was a charter student at Valley along with all of us. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 29,2024
Ron and I shared the first class on day one in September 1959 with Coach Dick Hill and his PE class. We remained friends through Valley and into Santa Ana College. He put together a 1955 or 1956 Chevy that could have been the stunt car that Harrison Ford drove in American Graffiti. Black, lifted, chrome rims, hot motor. Decades later we crossed paths with our love of American muscle cars and he helped with our car meets at Saddleback Church around 2005-06. I have old photos of Ron where we cut class and drove up to the snow in Big Bear in his '49 Chevy, along with Terry White. Rest in peace, old friend.
One of my best friends in High School along with Stan and Terry and several others. Didn't know that he passed until today as I have been at our home in Western NY during November, December & January and not on the internet very much. He was a great car guy. I remember when we very young he had some very fast Go-Karts that morphed into Chevy's and our car club "Chevy;s Unlimited" Rest in peace my good friend!!
