I was very, very sad to hear that Gloria had passed away. I knew her since elementary school, and she was always a favorite of mine. I loved her beautiful smile and her kind heart. My condolences go out to her wonderful daughter and family. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
Gloria and I lived across the street from one another. She taught me to dance - or tried to. I remember a bully in the neighborhood that used to intimidate the younger kids. Gloria and I caught him on the way home from school one day. We pantsed him, threw his clothes up on the roof and made him run home naked. No more problems. Lots of memories!
