I will always remember Mrs. Thompson for looking out for me and making sure I was with the right crowd.  She and I had many long talks on many things during my high school years. (Although I never, nor she shared that  with anyone) I am sure she did so with many other students as well .. She had a real concern for her students and took some of us under her wing so to speak... There were many times she would ask me to come in early or stay after   so we could talk.     She may have been thought of as mean or stern at times  but she really had a heart of GOLD!!  For Graduation she always gave all the seniors a gift...never failed to do so as long as I attended.  She was  a very creative and talented lady and will always be fondly remembered by me...
