Remember Joe fondly, he was part of the "Impressions, LTD" if i remember correctly - the blue jackets the guys would wear after school - Lorenzo "Bobo" Flores, Hector Valadez, Frank Bizelle, Paul Viex,Ricky Cortez and I am sure I am missing more of them
Good afternoon everyone. I too, like Irma, have fond memories of Joe Lopez. Besides St. Monica memories with our Class of 1972 classmates, I have fond memories playing music with Joe, Ricky Luna, Ralph Mayorga and having our "jam sessions". He had a fantastic and lifely personality and always fun to be around. Although I did not see him much after St. Monicas, I would run into him every once in a while on the Westside. And of course, memories of the "Impressions LTD" and the dances at St. Monica's. Believe it or not - I still have my Impressions jacket. Rest In Peace Joe.
I am so sad to hear about the passing of our classmate, Joe (Jose) Lopez). He and I had a couple of classes together freshman year and we would sing 'Sad Girl' together and had a lot of fun and, of course, hang out at A&W. Yes, he was, Irma, one of the Impressions with Mike Downey too. This is when Sheila still lived here and hadn't moved to Texas yet. Funny how you always remember your high school friends, they stay in your heart forever. Rest in peace, Joe, you have some good friends already up there waiting for you to to say 'Hi' again. God blesses you!

My husband Rick Luna and I we classmates of Joe since 1st grade at St Anne's in Santa Monica. He was an amazing friend. Lots of cruising, sports and gatherings. Rick was also a member of the Impressions Ltd group., and there also was a lot of fun and laughter! So many amazing memories that we will always have. God bless Joe (Trini), him and his family are all in our prayers!

I remember Joe as always having a smile. Besides being an Impressions member, he was at A & W shooting the breeze. After graduation, I would see him at George Reynoso's, (my brother in law), working on cars. It seems they had a new car every week. God bless him & his family.
