SHERI NORWOOD: 
 
Granddaughter of Edwin Jefferson--a preschool
teacher at an elite school in Pasadena and has a son named Teo
Norwood.
Sheri was highly gifted as a child and entered first grade at Baldwin Hills
Elementary School with a sixth grade reading level char placed her in
accelerated classes. Sheri continued her education in Santa Monica at St.
Monica's Catholic High School, where she received the Sacraments of First
Holy Communion and Confirmation. Sheri then attended Venice High
School and Santa Monica Community College.
Sheri became a stay-at-home mom after her son Teo was born and she
operated a successful business from her home. She made specialized
children's tee shirts to order and was listed on the Internet as Mama
Love"-_- Sheri had a large clientele locally as well as out of state.
After her son Te began school, Sheri decided to continue her education.
Sheri earned a degree in Psychology from Occidental College. Sheri then
joined the staff at Pacific Oaks Children's School in Pasadena, California,
where her enthusiasm and creativity opened the minds of her young
students and expanded their learning capabilities.
Sheri delighted in singing with a choir group. She studied dance from
childhood and continued to take dance lessons, perhaps you saw her in a
television commercial, Sheri regularly jogged in the park and worked out
 
 
in the gym. She visited National Parks in the West and her favorire was
Sequoia, Kings Canyon--she was a devour environmentalist. Sheri made
her transition on August 23, 2008.
