Janet Farnsworth (Codding)

Hugh Bishop Codding, Jr. aka Brooks Codding was bigger than life in my world. His Dad was part owner of the first Title Company I worked at and Brooks would sometimes deliver paperwork. He reminded me of James Dean. We were married from 1974 to 1979 and he has two beautiful daughters and now a beautiful little grandaughter from that union.  Brooks had trouble liking himself and was a real risk taker,  and so his escape from reality caused him to die in an automobile accident in October, 1981.  He was passing on a curve when another car was coming toward him, he swerved out of the way, went down an embankment and it snapped his neck. A head-on collision with the other car with a large family with many children would have been horrible, so his last act was really a blessing.  Rest in Peace Brooksie!
