Comments:

I moved to Portland, OR, in 1971, and attended Lewis and Clark College, graduating with a BA in History, double major in Education in 1975. Subsequently, I completed my MAT in History/Social Studies from Lewis and Clark College in 1979. I completed my doctorate in Education from George Fox University in 2006.

I have spent most of my adult life in education: 18 years at the senior high school level, and 12 years in higher education. Between the two there was a 3.5 year stint in computer manufacturing and information technology. Having completed a brief assignment as Vice President of Academic Affairs for ECPI College of Technology (http://www.ecpi.edu), a multi-state college system with nearly 10,000 students, I am now back in Portland, OR, my first love, to continue my career in higher education.

School Story:

No one story...just a collection of images and vignettes...

Recording sessions with "the machine," and lotsa' bem fitas de musica playing the tunes for some pretty decent parties.

Rick Britton, Rick Crane and I digging military history, historical simulation games, and staying up too late.

*Static of the Razz*!

Rockin' and rollin' with Rick B., Rick C., Harry Rosenberg, Tom Jones, Stevie-O, etc., etc., etc., during several pretty decent dances. Open with "Yer Blues"...go straight to "Born to be Wild." After that, whatever....

Guaruja...Ubatuba...Rio...B.A....

A full week in Rio during Carnaval...Rick and Rick and I with what musta' been a dozen of us guys 'n girls...no chaperones...many great moments.

Rick, Rick and I doing the "Eastern Slobovian Trade Delegation" and "Lower Mongolian Ethics Committee" in Brent Wendling's POD classes.

Hootin' it up in Kathy Ryan's AP European history classes, and realizing that I grew up to be taller than the pile of handouts she produced during the year.
