I randomly ran into Vicki at a party in Encinitas, CA in about 1981. I recognized her face (who wouldn't) but not her name. She didn't recognize me at all, and undoubtedly thought "this obnoxious drunk" was trying to pick her up! After exhausting many possible situational encounters I asked her if she ever went to EGSP. When she said "yes," I asked her if she'd been in Mr Hamerick's class. She nearly fell over!
I saw her again in 2009, at the Columbus Reunion. Again, she didn't remember me (I guess I'm pretty forgettable!) but we all got a great laugh as she told the story of her randomly meeting someone at a party in CA, and I said, "that was me." We spent several hours reminiscing and bringing each other up to date on our lives.

Vicki was a true light in this world.
