Gay T. Lewis, of Sarasota died March 10, 2012. Survivors include her husband, Rob; sons, David and Matthew; daughter, Mary Kate and sister, Tanya Tyson. Gay was pre-deceased by her parents, Sarah Lorraine and James Tyson.  Gay was a beloved Wife and Mother and was a Sunday school teacher at The Church of the Redeemer, Episcopal.

She was born and raised in Sarasota and was a graduate of Sarasota High School and Palm Beach Community College Dental Hygiene School. She was employed by Dr. Paul Jaworski, DDS and Dr. Benjamin Moricz, DDS.  Our precious Gay loved doing things for others and had a way of comforting and treating everyone in a way that made them feel special. She always put her family first and treated everyone with kindness, concern and love. Her soft touch and soft heart will be with us all forever.
