Geir Tveten (Denner)

October 10, 1959 - August 31, 1980.

Geir was included in memory in the booklet produced for the 20th reunionand the CD for the 30th reunion of our Class of '77.  He was listed first as Gene Denner (his first name appearing as it was misspelled in our senior  yearbook @ p. 228) and then as Geir Tveten Denner (his name appeared on the SHS graduation program as Geir Tveten)*.  

*The differing last names are due to Scandinavian traditions of multiple family names used in someone's name, the use of patronyms and lack of the American/European tradition of a surname. Geir used Denner as his surname (easier to spell and pronounce) but the official record had his patronym Tventen as his "last name" and thus used it at graduation.
