I can't stop laughing! This site is awesome - great potential. Thanks Garth for setting it up, and generally taking the ball and rolling with it.
Daryl...you planning on growing that mullet again for June?
10/16/08 10:09 AM #4
Daryl Hunter
No! I think the mullet will stay in the past. If you really want to laugh your ass off, find me on Facebook where I have far more entertaining pictures.
My youngest was looking at a high school picture and asked what that was behind my head before going into a long bout of laughter.
I'm sure pictures of all of us looking some what stupid are forth coming.

What do you guys think of the year book, I kind of screwed up on lining up the pages but oh well.
About the website....hopefully I can find some other neat stuff to put on it.
Keep spreading the word about the site!
Daryl....go for the Mullett!

Garth, you're amazing putting all this together. Way to go...sorry, I can't find my information from the 10 year reunion. I managed to find the 'yearbook' we put together, but nothing else. Good luck with it all...I'm very much looking forward to it. Let me know if you need any help...I'm always willing.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the positive feedback. This is right up Garth's alley. As for me, I have trouble just logging on.....ha ha. We have many more ideas on the roll. There will be more cool stuff on this site before its over. We love the pictures. They are very entertaining. Email Garth some photos as we will have a photo board at the reunion.

Greetings!
I am really excited about the reunion. And…I am a little nervous because I don’t know what to say, and I haven’t kept in touch, and I can’t fit into my blue satin grad dress and my hair just isn’t very big anymore…(haha)
In the spirit of giving back to the community, and providing an opportunity to break the ice and reconnect, I would be interested in doing something with you, fellow grads, prior to the Saturday evening reunion party. I am thinking along the lines of a group activity like volunteering at a community kitchen, or maybe there is a landscaping project to do at a local church, or does ED Feehan require bodies/resources for some project? Or maybe we can do something for the students at EDF like help out with a grad retreat, job fair, etc.
Let keep in touch via this website and see what we come up with. I am a little out of touch of the Saskatoon scene but I am sure there is something or someone that could use our pooled resources preferably on the Friday before the reunion party. And then, of course, I am sure there’s bush party we can go to afterwards….
Cheers everyone!
Caroline

Just a note....We were looking at seting up the Scholarship fund for an EDF student or students. It would most likely be a one shot deal. Our hopes are to have the class of 1990 do the same and so on.... If you interested in helping with this see our scholarship fund page

We are not planning anything formal for the Friday night (as of yet), might be a good time to get together with the old crew so that on Saturday night everyone could mingle ....

Hey Everyone, hope you enjoyed the few pictures we posted. We would love more. Dig up what you have and submit them for us to add. Also, does anyone have any old posters of 80's bands, Movies? I would love to collect some for decorating at the reunion. eg) Bon Jovi, Breakfast Club, Madonna, Duran Duran, Twisted Sister, etc. Anyone want to be on the decorating committee? We need volunteers.

Garth and Daryl,
You guys are doing an awesome job! Because I am teaching at EDF right now, do you want me to find out more about the scholarship idea? I really like Carolyn's idea about volunteering to do something at Feehan. I can ask "Principal Chad" if she has any ideas on that one, I think it would be very meaningful to the students if we could come up with something cool to do. This is my last year at Feehan, so I would be very keen to help with that. Feehan also has a new motto: As well as the "Freedom, Unity Charity", we all have bracelets (a la Lance Armstrong) that say " I am a member of the Feehan Family...who I am makes a difference".
I'm also trying to dig up my grad photos...I know they're here somewhere. Will post them when they are found.
Can't wait til June!

How about hosting a silent auction at the dance on Saturday as a way to raise fund for the scholarship? What other ideas have people come up with? What would the scholarship be for? Where is the most need?
01/12/09 09:51 PM #21
Garth Kuemper
The Silent Auction is a great idea, do you have contacts to get stuff to auction off?
We were just thinking plain old donations and possibly a 50/50 draw.

Hi,
I found out that if we want to donate for a one-time award, there is a lack of scholarships/awards for students going to SIAST for a diploma program. Also, the award should be minimum $500.00 or there isn't really any point...I like the idea of both the silent auction and the 50/50 draw. I think both of those ideas are excellent.

Hi All! As you can see by the above post that we are looking to raise a minimum of $500 for a scholarship. If anybody is willing to help with this let me know and we can discuss. I would think we are probably sitting at $100 in donations already!

Hi everyone, we're running out of time. Please try and contact anyone you know that might be able to help us find the rest of the graduates. Plans are going well and should be an awesome time. We will send out more updates soon. Thanks to those who have already helped out.
