KENNETH MILLAR

Our father, Kenneth Millar of Martensville, SK, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 4, 2021 after a month-long battle with COVID-19. Dad was born in Saskatoon to Sidney and Nettie Millar on May 17, 1960. He was proud of his Irish and Mennonite heritage and stayed in touch with all of his extended family from around the world. Straight out of high school, dad got a job at CP Rail. He retired 37 years later, and made many friends along the way. Anyone who knows our father, knows of his love for airplanes. Anyone who was ever with dad, knows that he always had a song in his heart. Still, spending time with his family and friends (and helping them where he could) was where his true passion was. He is survived by his sons Andrew (Alyson) and Matthew, his sister Linda (Russell), his nephew Steven (Jasmine, Cameron, Caden, Levi), his lifelong friend Curtis (Larissa, Cynan, Lucas), and many more close friends and family. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Funeral Home, 311 Third Avenue North. Due to the nature of dad's passing and current circumstances, the funeral service will be by invite only.
