Ramona Saussy

Mr. Romona Glenn Saussy, 53, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Landmark Hospital. He was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, where he attended the public schools of Chatham County. Mr. Saussy was a member of First Bryan Missionary Baptist, where he served on the Financial Committee and Junior Deacon Board.

He was a Transportation Specialist for the US Army Corp of Engineers, and was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi International Business Fraternity (Kappa Chi Chapter) and Frank Callen Boys Club.

Survivors are: His mother, Sandra Baumann; grandmother, Henrietta Ward; brother, Thackery L. Saussy, Sr.; sister, Rosetta Gundy (Trevon),; uncles, Baron Saussy and Rodney Saussy;aunts, Renee Kiett- Williams, Elizabeth Beck; great aunt, Phyllis Jones and Rosalind Williams; one godson, Adrian Johnson; two goddaughters, Yentl Ramseur-Floyd and Kanomi Ramseur; two godsisters, Sandra Aikens and Sharon Aikens, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held 12 noon Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens 5530 Silk Hope Rd. Savannah, GA Rev. Beverly Drayton, Officiating.
