It is with a heavy heart that I share that Tom Hunter went to be with his Lord yesterday afternoon after a short illness. When I think of Tom, I remember that every time we saw each other, it was with that big smile of his and a big hug to match. He will be missed. There will be a celebration of his life and I will share that as soon as I get the information. Prayers for Dee and their daughter for Peace and Healing

I am very saddend by this news. Tom was a great friend that I only saw him a hand-full of times after graduation but each time it was as if we had never left. He always gave a warm hand shake and a hardy hail of joy to greet. He was a great member of the HVJ Warrior Band and a natural leader as well as an accomplished precussionist. When many of our generation were running away from serving our Nation he volunteered to be a Coast Gaudsman. God blessed me with his life as his distant friend and I pary the the Lord will wrap his loving arms around his family during the emotional and hurting times ahead.
