Graduated California State College of PA in 1968. Employed by Moshannon Valley School District 1968-2002 teaching Industrial Arts. Married Elizabeth Cowher in 1970. Attended Penn State as a grad student. Part time building contractor 1968-2002. Have two sons; Christian is Chief of Staff at Pitt/Johnstown University; Matthew is a science teacher and athletic trainer in Louisiana. I was a basketball referee for 17 years and also coached basketball and youth baseball. I live in the midst of the best hunting and fishing area in PA and enjoy both of these activities. I have been a stained glass artist, computer techie and love to canoe in my spare time. My other endeavors include a mushroom hunting class, wine tasting and bowling lessons through a Life Long Learning Institute at Penn State. I am a member of the Lions Club and we provide a lot of community service for our little town. We are presently helping to try to start a library as our town has never had one. We really enjoy traveling and our goal is the see the USA. Being retired is great

School Story:

I still enjoy going to plays and stage productions because of serving on the stage crew at Knoch. I once had an opportunity to go back stage at the Kennedy Center to see what they did to stage The Phantom of the Opera. I had to chuckle when I compared that to what we did in high school.

Spent two weeks in January, '09 in Louisiana to help our son work on his new house. We went to Louisiana expecting a warm southern winter. We almost froze. It was 19 degrees one morning. They had an ice day where everything was shut down because they were afraid of black ice on their many bridges. Of course we left our winter coats and boots in the car at Harrisburg airport. We learned to layer with their clothes. Hope the reunion weather is not as cold as Louisiana was.
