What a sad day, I feel so bad that we were not aware of his illness. I'm sure Hank would have love receiving a card with good thoughts from the reunion classmates. May he be at peace and free from pain. God bless his loving family.
Hank, we will miss you. Your quiet presence yet strong energy was comforting. You are a good friend, classmate and housemate. I've lost two buddies from those fun, crazy days at The Heckert building- Len and now you. Travel well.
Hank. The news of your passing rocked me and yet brought back a flood of memories of our boyhood together--playing baseball and endless hours of catch, boy scout camp-outs, and working at Doc Eisler's farm. What a time we had. I am happy we had a chance to rememisce at the forty-fifth reunion. We (our classmates and I) were so much looking to see you at the fiftieth, but it was not to be. You were well-loved by all. I pray we have a chance to meet on the other side and play another round of catch. My best. Joe
“Death ....that when a loved one leaves the body, it is a cause for a genuine and special joy.
Yet know this: your Beloved is celebrating Continuation Day.
Celebrate that person's Continuation Day! They have moved in Consciousness and Beingness to a place of wonderful renewal and remembering, where all that we have "forgotten" here is once more understood and experienced. It is a time of great happiness.” From Conversations With God by Neal Donald Walsh.
You may find the holidays difficult as there is an absence of Hanks’s essence, but know he just received his greatest promotion, and he is only a thought away. I can tell you this is true as I had my own near death experience.
Light, Love and blessings to you and your family. Carol Madey McLain
