Another Sad Note to Post:

Valerie Uram just emailed me and told me that her husband, Gregory Uram passed away on 6 November of pancreatic cancer. God be with the Uram family during this sad time.

Resident of Santa Maria
Born in Butler, PA to the late John and Mary Uram. He went to school in Butler area where he was a star baseball player. He is a brother to Ron Uram (Barbara) and an Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 35 years Valerie Parmenter Uram. He also leaves behind sons Jeff and Daniel Scalia (Heather) as well as his 3 grandsons.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati. During his college work study, he was employed at Lockheed. He helped with the design of a satellite that was launched in 1969. He spent most of his career working for GE, Applied Materials and Raytheon.
He was well known for his wonderful sense of humor. One of his favorite things to do was going to stand-up comedy concerts with his wife. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality with his family. A celebration of life will be determined at a later time.
