Randi DiPrima (DiPrima)

I will always remember Randy from Mrs Pearlmutter's Spanish class.  We were the dynamic duo of Rafael and Ramon. Randy was Rafael.  He had a great sense of humor with an awesome smile and laugh.  He was someone you could always count on.  He will be missed.

My goodness. Every loss hurts but this one hits so close to home. Randy lived on Tanglewood growing up and I was on the corner of Highview Drive and Tanglewood. He lived right across the street from Mrs Robinson.l We rode bikes, played ball, went sleigh riding, shoveled a few driveways together, had a few snowball fights, went trick or treating, lit a few firecrackers on the 4th and just hung out with other kids in the neighborhood. We all took the bus to Greenville and grew up practically knowing everything about each other. After my family moved away following 8th grade, he was one of the regulars who I truly missed. Never remember ever being mad at him for anything. All around good friend. The pony ride is never long enough. Taken way too soon. Rest well my friend.

Ow, ... Randy and I were close friends for so many of my early years. From salamander hunting in a creek behind his house at age 8, to traveling together down to Kresge at age 13 to buy my first vinyl (Dave Brubeck). We spent $1.25 to see Romeo and Juliet together in 1968. So many memories. Quiet spoken  - A dudley do-right of a champ who will always live on in his effect on others lives. I will miss him so. Thank you Randy for improving my life...
