Linda Ward Sponholz passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Howard A. Sponholz. Linda graduated from Linton High School in Schenectady, NY in 1963. She went on to earn a B.S. in nursing from Plattsburgh State and a MBA from NYU. She worked as a nurse at both Montefiore and Flower and Fifth Hospitals, later working in administration at Cabrini Medical Center. Most recently she was employed by Alliance Healthcare. She is survived by her father, Arthur R. Ward; brother, Robert A. Ward; and a sister, Peggy Hanover. She is also leaving behind three stepdaughters, Susan Dice, Ruthi Fruit (Cameron), Laurel Drucker (Phillip); seven grandchildren, Evan, Austin, Colin, Mason, Joel, Anthony, Zoe.
