Robert A. Gore SchenectadyRobert Gore, 64, passed away on February 25, 2014, at the Stratton V.A. Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Bobby was born on March 2, 1949, and was the son of the late Alvin A. and Elberta (Brown) Gore. He was a 1967 graduate from Linton High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1968 until 1972. He was a mechanic for many years at Keeler Motor Car Company and was a member of the Colonie VFW Post 8692. Bobby also served many years as a Harley Rendezvous staff member. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as, building and painting model cars. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald. Bobby is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda; his daughters, Elizabeth, Miranda (John Reek Jr.) and Katrina Ellis (Michael). He was the proud papa of Jenna, Izabella, and Olivia. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary, Alvin (Lisa), and Paul (Beverly); and sisters, Phyllis (Gilbert Bliss), Elizabeth (the late Edward Snyder), Elberta (Wolfgang Leuschner), and Susan (Tony Freiermuht); and sister-in-law, Sylvia Gore. Bobby also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Nimbus. For those who prefer, contributions may be made in Bobby's memory to the Colonie VFW #8692, P.O.
