Robert F. Manchester Schenectady - Bob passed away after a short illness, leaving behind two daughters and their husbands: Jessica & Travis McCoy of Dutchess County, and Lisa Manchester & Owen Herne of Buffalo. He is survived by several siblings and nephews.
Grampa Bob will be dearly missed by his beloved grandson, Archer. Anyone who knew Bob knew that he was one-of-a-kind.
He was a passionate lifelong learner, and a graduate of the school of hard knocks. He loved history, fishing, art, movies, books and guitars. His sense of humor was legendary.
A toast to Bob will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 3 p.m.. BL's Tavern, 208 Front St., Schenectady. Cash bar, just as he would have wanted it.
