Private services will be held for Linda M. Marek, 75, who passed away peacefully on Monday January 20, 2025.  Born and raised in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Stanley and Nina (Peru) Marek. 

Known for her creativity and skill, Linda developed a connection to the people around her. This was demonstrated through her beautiful pieces of knitting, crocheting and sewing which brought joy to those who received them. She was always delighted to share stories from her years past about adventures of “racing cars” which brought smiles to those who listened. 

She had a special place in her heart for animals, treating every furry friend as a cherished member of the family. As a spiritual believer, Linda found comfort and strength in her faith which led her through every chapter of her life.

May Linda’s memory bring comfort to all who were touched by her warmth and grace.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Matthew Groncki (wife Shanon), Timothy Groncki (wife Kelly) and Jennifer Spraker; her grandchildren Jalaina, Amber, Samantha, Cameron, 

Braxton and her great grandchildren Wesley and Maisie.
