I am sorry to hear of Janet's passing.  We met through a mutual friend, Joey Bender, at a party in junior high.  (Now that I think of it - same party where I met Jimmy Heyostek.)  When we reached Linton, I was impressed by the way Janet remembered me and immediately became my friend.  Everything said about her in her obituary rings true.  Janet was spunky, compassionate, funny, loyal, and self-assured.  She was very special and I am sure her spirit shines on like light passing through a prism sending shards of positive, coloful energy.  Narkie.  She would laugh to read that last sentence.  :)
