Anthony Canabush Obituary - Albany, NY | Albany Times Union

Canabush, Anthony P. SCHENECTADY Anthony "Tony" P. Canabush, 55 of Regent St., died February 5, 2007 suddenly at Ellis Hospital. Tony was born in Albany, the son of Samuel S. and Evelyn R. Rabideau Canabush Sr. and was a graduate of Linton High School, class of 1969. He had worked at the General Electric Co. and had been the retail manager of Anaconda Sports for many years. He was a devoted father supporting his daughters in soccer and lacrosse, he also enjoyed golf, fishing and was an avid Yankees fan and loved to cook. Tony is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sheila Cain Canabush; three daughters, Karli Richardson and her husband Justin and twins, Lindsey and Ashley Canabush, all of Schenectady; three sisters, Loretta Lawyer and Charlene (Joseph) DeLuca, both of Schenectady and Connie Canabush of Burlington, Vt.; sisters and brother-in-law, Marlene Canabush, MaryEllen (Jim) Lussier; mother-in-law, Mary Cain; the two grandsons he adored, Peyton and Jayden Richardson and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel Jr. and Joseph Canabush. Funeral service Friday morning 9:00 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours Thursday, evening 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment Memory's Garden, Colonie. Tony's family request memorial contributions be made to the American Heart/Stroke Assoc., OP.O. Box 3049 Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 in Tony's memory.
