Paula DeLorenzo Obituary - Albany, NY | Albany Times Union

SCHENECTADY Paula Daversa DeLorenzo, 54, of Ray Avenue, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Schenectady to the late Mario and Marie Voris Daversa, Paula was a lifelong Schenectady resident. She was a legal secretary for over 30 years and was co-owner of Scooters Sports Cafe. Mrs. DeLorenzo was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Schenectady. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Joseph D. DeLorenzo; one daughter, Stacey M. Trask of Los Angeles, Calif.; one son, Scott J. DeLorenzo of Schenectady; one sister, Barbara Rossetti of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Brody Trask and Aidan Trask, both of Los Angeles; one sister-in-law, Marylyn Lane of Schenectady; one brother-in-law, Robert DeLorenzo and his wife Roberta of Zellwood, Fla.; her special friends, Donna Altieri, Laurie Affinito and many other dear friends, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dogs, Jake and Nico. Paula was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carmen DeLorenzo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10:15 at the Gleason Funeral Home, 730 Union Street, Schenectady and at 11:00 at St. Anthony's Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday afternoon from 4:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
