Charles Eaddy

Charles Eaddy, age 65, passed away February 23, 2017, in Austin, Texas, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

Charles was born on September 21, 1951, in Hondo, Texas, to J.O. Eaddy and Helen Bohrfalk Eaddy.  He grew up in Schertz, Texas and graduated from Samuel Clemens High School.  He received his bachelor's degree from West Texas State University and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Charles began his career with USAA in San Antonio.  He also held positions at Deloitte Haskins and Sells and EDS that provided him the opportunity to travel throughout the United States as well as Europe and the Middle East.  Charles enjoyed playing softball and basketball, cheering on his favorite sports teams, including te Texas Longhorns, and spending time with his family.

Charles met and married his wife, Rebekah Shannon Eaddy, at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas.  They were blessed with a daughter, Julia.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Anna Hellsten.  He is survived by his wife Rebekah of Austin, Texas; daughter, Julia and her fiancée Kyle Goodwin of Plano, Texas; sister Janet Dougherty and husband, Wayne of Schertz, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was a wonderful husband, an amazing father, and much loved by his larger extended family.
