Originally married in 1982 - Divorced in 2002
Remarried on November 28, 2002
Employed at Contractors Equipment and Supply in Kalamazoo, MI.
Still farming - crops include hay, soybeans, and corn. Stock animals are swine and cattle.
Tell us about your family,,, your kids, mom, dad, etc.

Dad and Mom still reside in Schoolcraft. I am currently living in the same farn house that I grew up in.

I married Dawn Smith on Thanksgiving Day in 2002. We have 4 children together. Our two oldest graduated together from Schoolcraft High School in 2004. Travis is currently attending college at Wyotech in Blairsville,PA. He will be graduating in June 2009. Greg, will be graduating from Schoolcraft High School in May of 2009.

Our past hobbies with the kids included Kart racing, which we thoroughly enjoyed. As the kids got older their interests turned to bigger things to drive. Travis and I completely restored a 68 Chevelle (with the help of good friend, Allen Shearer). Greg followed his interest to stock car and Enduro car racing.

Our older two children are on their own and have their own lives.

Greg - Schoolcraft Graduate 2009

Greg has been accepted to the Auto Academy at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and will start his course in November, 2009.

Shawn & Jessica - Schoolcraft Graduates 2004

Shawn is currently working at the Sharp Shop in Kalamazoo, MI

Jessica is currently unemployed but is looking to go back to school to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Travis - Schoolcraft Graduate 2008

Travis attended Wyotech in Blairsville, PA. He completed their program and now is Platinum certified in Auto Collision and Metal Fabrication.

1968 Chevelle - before restoration, This was a project that Travis and myself took on. It was 3 years in the process and with the help of Allen Shearer it has become Travis's Dream Car. Through this project Travis learned to love doing body work and restoration.
