John Gibbs

John David Gibbs, 41, of Gillette, Wyo., died Sunday, July 1, 2001 in Gillette.

He was born Sept. 13, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, song of Albert Leroy and Dorothy Louise Burger Gibbs..

Gibbs was an engineer with the Burlington-Northern Railroad. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyn Gibbs of Edgemont, S.D.; his mother of Scott City, Mo.; five brothers, Bo Gibbs of Salmon, Idaho, Bill, Larry, Garry and Tom Gibbs, all of Scott City; tow sisters, Mary Lynn Evans of Scott City and Jane Duncan of Sikeston, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held at 7.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetary.
