ROBERT KOCH

 
Robert Koch an ISC sophomore, was killed Saturday night, April 24, in a traffic accident about 1/2 miles south of Kelso on Highway 61.
 
He was a passenger in a car driven by Rodney Wehmeyer of Thebes, Ill., who was also killed in the accident. Danny Cope, another passenger in the car and a senior here, received ·serious
injuries and was taken to Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
 
The accident occurred when the car left the highway and overturned.
 
Robert was born in Chester, Ill., May 26, 1960, and attended Trinity Lutheran School before coming to I-SC.
 
He was the son of Mrs. Letha Koch of lllmo and Everett Earl Koch, Jackson.
 
He is also survived by his three sisters;-Linda, Denise, and Ann, as well as a half brother and three stepbrothers.
 
Funeral services were held at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at 1:00 Tuesday with the Rev. Howard English, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Scott City, officiating. Burial was in Paradise
Cemetery near Chester.
 
Pallbearers were Roy Lange, Wendell Lange, Mike Chamness, Dale Kluesner, Gary King, and Chris Ashcroft.
