I'm sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great friend to me at Saguaro, but we lost touch after I moved out of state. May you rest in peace Mike. You will always hold a special place in my memories.
I too sadly lost touch with Mike. He was a wonderful friend in high school; bright, witty and fun. I'm sure he is missed by many. I briefly spoke with his wife Julie, who I hope will post something about Mike. He has two grown sons. I believe (unconfirmed) that he attended ASU for engineering. God Bless his family.
mike and I were best friends in high school our freshman year. Whenever we went to visit some of the you girls that couldnt resist us, mike had to stick his head in the sink and shampoo his hair, blow dry it, and make sure that he looked his best! so all you girls who remember that mop of perfectly straight sandy brown/blonde hair, that is the way he did it just for you. Mike was real good at lots of sports. One time his dad took us up to the snow to stay at the cabin. it was a huge winter storm on the way up, but his dads brand new 4x4 f150 4 speed, made it no problem. after we got there, mike asked for us to take the truck out and do some 4 wheelin. his dad would have been pretty upset if he knew that we got it stuck twice in 5 ft. snow drifts. We spent countless hours listening to America and Peter Frampton records in his room. His mom was constantly telling us to turn it down. When we snuck out at night to go see some girls, his dad was pretty cool when he caught us. yea, real good time, real good memories. he had a huge crush on Dr. Cole.
