Brad, 51, of Scottsdale, AZ,  passed away June !2, 2012.  He was born 7/18/60, and grew up in Scottsdale.  He graduated from Saguaro High in 1978, and received his Bachelor's Degree from University of Arizona in 1982.  Brad loved Arizona, and enjoyed playing many of the golf courses in the state.  In college, Brad was an active member of the Sigma Alpha Fraternity and a lifetime Wildcat fan.  Brad was a lifetime member of the Scottsdale Charros, with whom he spent many hours working to raise money for local chairities.  He was awarded Charro of the Year in 2008.  Brad also devoted his time working with Horsense, helping teach disadvantaged youth horseback riding and life skills.  Brad will be remembered for his big heart, and his devotion to his family and friends.  Brad always had a good story to tell, a warm smile, and a big embrace.  He always lit up a room with his engaging nature and great sense of humor.  He will be sorely missed by those who knew him.  Brad was preceded in death by his parents Shirl and Charles "Chic" Torpey and his sister Brooke.  Brad is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ginny; his daughter Alyssa, 19 and son Kyle, 16.  Also, his brothers Steve, Scott, Mark and Phil.
